World's first floating wind farm emerges off coast of Scotland - Hywind
The world's first full-scale floating wind farm has started to take shape off the north-east coast of Scotland.
BRACKAGH WIND FARM
ByrneLooby were the foundation designers of the wind turbine bases for the 6MW Brackagh Wind Farm in Co. Derry. Were engaged to undertake the foundation design for the three turbines at the site, each with a tip height of 110m.
Gamesa contracted to supply 33 MW for five developments in United Kingdom
In total, the company will install 17 turbines of the 2 MW platform, and will maintain them for the next ten years.
