Voith Hydro WAVEgen, the Inverness-based marine energy company, has cause to celebrate after successfully handing over the world’s first full life WAVE power plant into commercial operation.

(Islay WAVE Power) Inverness firm hands over Spanish WAVE power plant
The Highlands company built the Limpet demonstrator WAVE project on Islay in Argyll.It is also working on plans to harness WAVE power at Siadar off the west coast of Lewis on the Western Isles.
