Proposal on this site looks at 2MW turbines
The proposed Clocaenog Forest Wind Farm is being examined within the National Infrastructure Planning process, which closed on 12 March 2014. After consideration, the Examining Authority will make a recommendation by mid-June 2014, which will go to the Secretary of State for a decision by mid-September 2014.

Developer RWE Innogy UK has said the wind farm could generate enough power for up to 40,800 homes.

The wind farm would be located in Clocaenog Forest, on land managed by Natural Resources Wales on behalf of the Welsh Ministers, and within the counties of Denbighshire and Conwy.
