Abbots Ripton Solar Farm is not only one of the largest solar farms operated within the Lightsource portfolio, it is also one of the largest in the UK with a staggering 24.7 MWp of output power. This is enough to provide for the energy needs of over 7000 local households, or to put it another way, enough to entirely power all houses in the nearby Cathedral city of Ely.
