Charity Farm: The proposal, earmarked for a site close to the village of Burlton, near Wem, would see about 44,000 panels created and power generated to about 2,900 homes.
Lightsource said it now plans to grow its pipeline of private-wire PPA projects, while construction is also due to begin soon on its 14MW Charity Farm development, one of the few solar projects to win a price support contract through last year's Contracts for Difference (CfD) auction.
