The site covers an area of 28.8 hectares which forms part of the land holding of Brynteg Farm which extends to some 55 hectares. The farm consists of a grassland sheep holding with the site being located to the west and south of the main farmstead which flanks the B4309. There are a small cluster of residential properties on the opposite side of the B4309 to the farm.
