Communities win low carbon grants
Communities in England, Wales and Northern Ireland have won up to £500,000 each to help install new green technologies such as SOLAR panels, hydro turbines and energy saving insulation.

E.ON UK Installs SOLAR PV Array at Ratcliffe-on-Soar Power Station
E.ON UK has installed a 68-panel SOLAR photovoltaic array at its Ratcliffe-on-Soar power station in Nottinghamshire, England, to help provide heat and light to the administration block, saving an estimated 6.3 tonnes of CO2 per year.
