The Wharrels Hill Wind Farm project includes the involvement of six local farmers to build and operate a substantial wind farm in Cumbria. Operating since 2007 it was one of FIM’s first projects.

Prior to construction, the consented site was purchased from Npower Renewables by Wharrels Hill LLP, a group of private investors. Oxfordshire based FIM Services manages Wharrels Hill LLP and Wind Prospect Ltd conductucted the project management during the construction phase.
