Broxtowe's solar farm plan gets turned down
Developers Earthworm Energy Limited wanted to put 68,000 solar panels on the site of the former Watnall Brickworks off LONG LANE, with the site running adjacent to the M1.
Plans for rejected Watnall solar farm go in for second try
Earthworm Energy Limited had its scheme to build a 17MW solar farm at the former Watnall Brickworks in LONG LANE turned down by Broxtowe Borough Council in June.
Plug gets pulled on Watnall solar farm
Broxtowe Borough Councillors has blocked proposals for building a solar energy farm in the borough.
At a meeting of the planning committee on June 17 , members refused to open the 24 hectare site off LONG LANE, Watnall, to development.
